FATIMA ESSABAR, morocco, photography

Fatima ESSABAR is a Moroccan artist born in 1987 whose work combine several artistic mediums including performance and photography that explore the relationship between humans and nature, and narrative psychology.

She uses performance and self-portraits to reflect her personality dimensions, and create a story around real or fictional identity to express her personal thoughts, experiences and question her society behaviours and perceptions.

Her work have been shown in September 2017 in the International Fair of Contemporary Art in Spain. In April, 2018 she won at a Photography Contest “Powerful Women: Breaking Stereotypes in the Euro-Mediterranean Region by the Euro-Mediterranean Women Foundation, which will be displayed at  the 8th International Congress of Feminist Research in the Francophonie in Paris.Best regards,
